CMIH established two offshore production bases including Mazhou Island base in Shenzhen and Haimen base in Nantong, Jiangsu. Mazhou Island base covers an area of approximately 700,000 square meters, equipped with two floating docks and two graving docks, ten berths and three shipways, which guaranteed an annual output capacity of five jack-up drilling platforms or corresponding production capacity of offshore equipment. Mazhou Island base was one of the seven offshore shipbuilding companies listed as the first batch of White List issued by the Chinese Government in 2015. Haimen base covers an area of 1.36 million square meters, it has the largest graving dock among all shipyards in China with a capacity of 500,000 DWT, as well as three berths and three shipways, which guaranteed an annual output capacity of ten jack-up drilling platforms or corresponding production capacity of offshore equipment.
CMIH has become a leading manufacturer in the field of offshore engineering constructions in China. It has successfully constructed over 30 types of products, including CJ46 Jack-up Drilling Rigs, Multi-functional Platforms, Offshore Wind Power Installation Platforms, as well as 4,500m³/h Self-propelled Cutter Suction Dredger, 11,000 Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger, Self-propelled Semi-submersible Barges and Multi-purpose Diving Support Vessels.
