In the afternoon of 18th Nov, CMI and CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited held the signing ceremony(via vedio) of LuFeng 12-3 FPSO hull construction contract. Wangwei, vice general manager of CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited, and Tiger Wu, vice general manager of CMI, attended the ceremony.

Mei Xianzhi, general manager assistant of CMI and general manager of Haimen Base, and Lv Changlong, general manager of  CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited, as representative of both sides, signed the contract.

LuFeng 12-3 FPSO hull construction project symbols the cooperation between CMI and CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited has made substantial headways. CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited, owned by CNOOC,  is a listed company which focuses on offshore and onshore oil& gas production, and committed to being a world class energy technology& services company with business of oil& gas extraction, equipment manufacturing, operation and maintenance, and FPSO package services. CMI, the only and representative anvanced manufacturing subsidiary of CMG, take FPSO as the main product of its marine and offshore equipment manufacturing business. This is also the frist time that CMI has taken FPSO package project including hull construction, module construction, integration, debugging and delivery, which has a great significance for CMI to gain experience of FPSO production and construction, and build one-stop delivery capability. Haimen Base will spare no errort to gather great production resources, cooperate with ship owner and project group to make sure it delivery on time and realize win-win cooperation with CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited.

Built for Guangdong LuFeng 12-3 Oil Extraction Project, LuFeng 12-3 FPSO, with a rating of 100,000 tons, has a lengtth of 241.5 meters, breadth of 45.2 meters, depth of 25.4 meters. It’s mooring center has a depth of approximately 236 meters and is equipped with an internal tower-type single-point mooring system. The empty ship weighs nearly 60,000 tons.
