CMI has gathered a group of highly professional and experienced personnel. There are 1,975 design and R&D staff, of which about 60% with bachelor degree or above (including 130 with master's degree or above). Among them, there are 145 staff  have deputy seniorengineer titles or above (including 14 senior engineers), and 532 staff members with intermediate titles. The top talents include 9have special state government allowance, 2 registered experts of the Ministry of Science and Technology, 15 registered experts of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, 2 young science and technology talents of the transportation industry, and more than 30 talents from provincial talent programs.
